Travel to Hermoupolis Syros

By Air. Hermoupolis is served by Syros Island National Airport (JSY) which is located 2 km away from the city. 

​Alternatively, you can fly to Mykonos Island National Airport (JMK) and then take the ship to Syros. Mykonos airport is served by many low cost and chartet companies during the summer season. The airport is located 4 km away from the town of Mykonos. Journey time from Mykonos to Hermoupolis ranges from 40 min to 1 hour 15 minutes depending on type of vessel. The are about 18 - 25 crossings weekly.

By Sea. Hermoupolis is connected daily with Piraeus port, the main port of Athens, throughout the year. Journey time is ranges from 2.5 to 4 hours, depending on the vessel.

​Hermoupolis is also home port for smaller vessels that offer regional routes to the Cyclades islands. Currently ANEK and NEL operate such routes, throughout the year. Practically, no other Greek island offer such connectivity to the Greek islands both in Cyclades and Dodecanese as well as Crete.
